What to Expect

Be Timely!

Arriving late will shorten your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged. It is always a safe idea to try and arrive 10-15 minutes early so that you can complete any necessary paper work, and to unwind a bit.

Medical History

You will need to complete a Health Intake Form, and possibly other related paperwork before your first massage. This helps the therapist understand your medical history, and allows them to tailor the massage to your needs. Before each massage you and your therapist will talk about your current condition to develop a treatment plan for the session. This will help identify any areas of your body that need relief and will help to make sure that your specific problem areas are addressed. A daily intake form is provided for following visits as a record of your body's condition from your own perspective.

Getting ready

Your therapist will lead you to your massage room, where the lights will be dimmed and soft music will be playing, to help you relax fully. The therapist will then leave you to undress and make yourself comfortable under the sheets on the massage table. Undress to the level of your comfort. You will always be safely and warmly covered by a sheet and blanket, with only the area being worked uncovered — never inappropriately exposed.

During the Massage

Your massage is completely adaptable to you. Please let your therapist know if the pressure is ever too light or deep, or if you are ever uncomfortable in any way. Except for the area being massaged, you will always be safely covered. Your job during the massage is to breathe deeply and fully, to completely relax into the table, and to just let yourself go. The heavier you feel, the more jello-like you are, the better.

Professionalism

All massages given are therapeutic, professional, legitimate, non-sexual, non-sensual, safe and confidential. If there is any type of sexual advances, remarks, or inappropriate touch, the service will be ended immediately. Jeni is licensed, insured and certified Texas Massage Therapist.

After the Massage

After your massage session, remember to take care of yourself. Avoid alcohol or any other stimulants for at least 12 hours after the treatment, as they will dehydrate you and possibly react quicker or differently than you are used to. Continue to drink a good amount of water, get plenty of rest & exercise, stretch daily, and ice or heat muscles as needed. Regular massage sessions will aid your body in quicker recovery from pains and sickness, and keep your body limber and pain free. Take the time to take care of you!
